Observatory – Araucária Tower
Have you ever imagined seeing the Caracol Waterfall from the top of a centuries-old araucaria tree? At the Observatory, you’ll feel as though you’re climbing inside the iconic tree of the Serra Gaúcha, in an immersive experience that awakens all your senses. Feel the vibrant energy of the araucarias within you.
Mill Waterfall Deck
Nature reveals its strength and beauty when we allow ourselves to pause and observe. Suspended over the river and facing a spectacular waterfall, feel the freshness of the Mill Waterfall and enjoy the landscape from a whole new perspective. Access is via a moderate-level trail. And don’t forget: this is another spot to stamp your Caracol Passport.
Dam Viewpoint
This is the starting point of a path that flows into the majestic waterfall. Between the river’s curves and the remains of an old dam built in 1938, the landscape shows how time transforms everything — what once produced energy for local residents now powers Canela’s most iconic postcard.
Corredeiras Viewpoint
Before the fall comes the force. Feel nature in its many intensities. The Corredeiras Viewpoint invites you to observe the wild motion of nature. Here, at the first waterfalls along the Caracol River, the waters gain speed and display their raw power.
Casa Raízes (Roots House)
Every story has its roots. Here, it lives within the walls of a historic house that carries the DNA of Caracol Park. An exhibition tells the story of its origins. Discover curiosities, relive memories, and see how culture and nature have walked hand in hand to this day.
Honey Garden
Discover the sweetness of nature. Guardians of balance and life — learn about the fascinating world of stingless bees. Observe their little hives, play and learn with the hive-shaped memory game, and feel how every tiny movement makes nature bloom.
